My First Workday

i was told that i would start working immediately the next day. and so i went to Call Com Inc. my schedule was from 4pm - 1am, damn its awful. but then again, i wanted to see the good side. so, ever optimistic looking forward to a new life, i stepped into the SEO departmetn, didn't even know what the heck SEO meant. there i was introduced to my three bosses, two co-writers, and our archiver. sir mhel took charge of orienting me of the basics. i learned that i am going to work as a search engine optimizer and web content writer. i had some idea about web content writing but search eangine optimization, it was a grey area for me. lucky for me, my officemates and bosses wee patient enough to clear everything for me. so that's it. all i did during my first day was get oriented and do some research on the Internet about web content writing and search engine optimization

Writer? In a Call Center? What's That?

...and so with my money rapidly diminishing and my mom relentlessly bragging that i should find a job quickly, i decided to double my efforts in job hunting and consider non accounting related work. and then it happened, my cousin who has just got her new job as a call center customer service representative told me that i should apply as a writer where she had found her new job, at Call Com Inc.

i really don't know what a writer does in a call center, but i took the chance and went to Call Com Inc. there i was interviewed and asked to take some exams, and on that very same day got hired. whoa! i can hardly believe it. just like that and i got a job. maybe including in my resume the fact that i have been a student journalist from elementary to college worked the magic for me. and then it struck me. I'm hired, but got no idea what so ever of what i need to do in my job. all i know is that I'll work as a search engine optimizer and web content writer. well, there's a first time for everything. there's the training program anyway. so Call Com Inc, bring it on...
